Okay I won't throw in spoilers yet since it just came out today, so I'll give general statements for now.
First off, it was a really great action/comic book superhero film. Some might say it is a little too by the numbers sort of film; Big evil bad guy wants to destroy world/everyone/universe/a city/etc. Hero steps in to save the day *cue hero music*, some romantic moments, maybe sprinkled with drama of how they can't be together and what have you. Throw in some other villain that tries to block the hero's path to the current threat.
Then hero saves the day and all is well again....or is it??
Okay general statement aside I like that they keep going back to Loki to keep peeling a layer here and there so that he can still be his awesome bad self. Yes he does tend to be a repeating theme with him but it is still a good one to see now and again, plus there are other Marvel movies that he isn't apart of incase he isn't your cup of tea or other beverages of choice.
I know some probably don't like movies like this, either it is too predictable or something but I'm really simple when it comes to blockbuster movies like this. If they happen to throw in something new and different or exciting, fantastic. Makes the film just that much more enjoyable. If not, then I'm probably still gonna be entertained all the same.
Big action moments, things blow up, some romantic moments just because, cool villain(s) and hero(s)/heroines. Possibility for more?
I'm happy.
