Granted it won't be for awhile, but I was thinking about figuring out how streaming works since I'm no longer using DSL, meaning my internet is awesome and doesn't cut out whenever I get a freaking phone call.

Of course Brave Little Toaster would be on the list and I'd dig out DVDs I have of some older cartoons as well like Hanna Barbera stuff, Jem and the Holograms, Animaniacs, Darkwing Duck, Gargoyles, and so on. We'd totally marathon Are you Afraid of the Dark? if I manage to pick those up like I plan.

I'm not even going to bother if there's zero interest, though. Anyone up for letting out their inner child or seeing what you missed out on if you were too young?
It sounds like fun but be careful executing this idea. Everything you listed is a copyrighted work and you could get jammed up legally for broadcasting them.

Really? I had no idea! This gal that runs a Darkwing Duck website has hosted livestreams for years that involve watching cartoons off of youtube (Halloween was tons of fun). Didn't realize I could actually get in trouble...
In reality, the most that's likely to happen is that you'd get whatever account on whatever site you're using to stream closed but it's worth keeping in mind none the less.
I'd be for it, but yeah make sure to figure out all the legalities first. If the worst case is you get a account closed down, remember Little Kuriboh has had this happened how many times and he keeps coming back. I guess if you make sure to do a proper disclaimer that you obviously aren't making money off it or that you don't own the rights and all the other legal jazz.

But yeah, keep us posted. Sounds like a really cool idea.
Better make a backup account for this. Other than that, I'm in. Well, granted I don't have to go to work whenever this might happen.
It'd be really fun to have something like a DYKG community page for Youtube.

This wouldn't be a good example to put on said page.

Well, I like the idea of it, and Hex's thing sounds cool. I just figure, if instead of an individual account basis, we could have the advantage of numbers and variety.

OtakuAscended always uploads their anime stream promos on YT so I don't see why this wouldn't work. Sure, it's not gaming, but that just from the top of my head.
