I'm starting to do some perler bead art. Hopefully I can get a little bit better with time. I'm going to work on some tomorrow. Pictures to follow. Here's my first attempt.
Thoughts? Suggestions? Customers?
Very nice. I look forward to seeing more of your bead work
After sorting beads for ever today, I sat down and made two new sprites.
I love my Pac-Man picture.
Love these -- Pixel art and bead heat-things go perfectly together.
How do you get them to stick (I have no idea how these things work) ? Ironing ?

Yea, I use an Iron to fuse the beads together. It's really easy to make, but kinda difficult to do right. the last few that I made have had beads fall out, though I was able to fix them and you could never tell.
All it really take to make one is to find a pattern (a sprite sheet or a custom pattern) and finding all the perler beads to make it. Word to the wise, Sometimes the sprites can be a little bit bigger than you could imagine..
The pac-man one is an instant win.
Zelda 1 Link

LoLo and Slime
Love it love it love it - keep'em coming !
Out of interest, how much does this cost to make ?

25 cents More or less. They mostly take a lot of time to sort though beads and put them together. To give you a rough estimate: We have made close to 30 of these things and we have not even used up half of the $25 bucket we bought. (See pictures)
