Update: I'm enjoying it and my daughter thinks of it like Legos and just throws up random stuff in Creative Mode. Guess I'll get my $20 worth. Now to get a S-Video cable so we can hook up the HD and play together.
It's good building like your first house in creative and all, but when you see what others are doing on youtube, you get kinda sad.
What I do is do Pixel art. I've done lots of them. Go search some up on Google images. They are brilliant.
I've already a lot of them. I've opted to stay in Survival Mode right now. I've found a village, put fences for farming up, currently placing steps and junk, put carpet, bookshelves and paintings and a bed in the house I've claimed as my own and I've surrounded the village with cobblestone walls and putting torches up in all kinds of places. Gonna make a little kingdom.
Kakriko Kid is being indoctrinated. I think it's time we invite you into the VGFacts Minecraft server where we build giant dicks and talk about evil plans.
He has the X-Box version and we haven't really done that in a while.
Anyone recommend any seeds. I've seen some popular ones through Google, but not my cup of tea. I deleted the one I was on, brother in law screwed up my ability to get achievements and I forgot to write the seed before I deleted it. Sucks.
If its an issue of just going into creative or not, then its pretty simple to start a game in survival again.
No, I want to play survival on a map that I like. Every knew map I've tried, I find something wrong. I loved the first one I had and the village I found had an almost perfect layout for what I was trying to accomplish. I dunno. I might play around with the seed generator some more, or I may just let a few random load and just pick one.
I just find more satisfaction in working for material to build stuff than have an unlimited inventory of whatever. I guess it makes me appreciate it more. If I get in a fun, crafty, imaginative mood, I may eventually do creative more.
