Although Energy Tennis has been a boss battle tactic in the Zelda series since A Link to the Past, and has appeared in over 10 games, it was given it's official name "Dead Man's Volley" In Phantom Hourglass (The third latest appearance of it), where it is called that by the Diobolical Cubus Sisters during their boss fight.
