(I originally posted this in the Free Gaming Thread, but felt it was more suited for here.)

So I decided to start speedrunning The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland.

This is my first presentable run. The WR is 2:58, so I'm a little more than 15 seconds off. I still need to work on the helicopter boss, not getting caught on the logs, and timing the sprays of the fans in the third level. Other than that though, I feel pretty good about it. Sorry about the lack of sound as well, had the game muted and didn't notice until after I finished recording.

(For those curious, the timer starts when you hit a button at the "Press any button to continue" text box, and ends when Elmo touches the blanket on the eighth level).

Pretty good for a first run. Don't be afraid to yake more damage though: barreling through an obstacle is often faster than waiting.
Gonna have a Metal Slug marathon on Twitch this Friday. Gonna start at noon, my time, so it should be... uh... around 4am CST. I honestly don't expect anyone from here to appear considering the time but hey, if you're suffering from insomnia come say hi. https://www.twitch.tv/massdistraction
Started doing a playthrough of Momodora Reverie Under the Moonlight.  I really like the Momodora games.

oh man guys this year i went all out and made a CRAZY, EPIC, INSANE April Fools video! It's absolutely BONKERS, OFF THE WALL CRAZINESS that you just GOTTA see!

I'm going to be in an awesome speedrunning marathon tomorrow that has already started! It will be streamed here:
https://www.twitch.tv/johannhowitzer

It's called Superdogthon. The point is, one of the most cherished and beloved members of the speedrunning community, Fladervy, wants to come to Summer Games Done Quick 2016 here in July (and he's scheduled to run Freedom Planet at SGDQ). However, Flad isn't from the US, he's from Brazil. He needs a little cash to help him buy his visa and plane ticket to make it to the States and actually meet all his speedfriends over here and show us all how much he kicks butt at speedruns. Please consider dropping a few dollars for him!

The schedule is here:

I'm playing Yugioh! on the internet with MassDistraction, who's never played before. Live at twitch.tv/arjahn

Update - It's over, he kicked my ass.
So, there's 4 big dances each year now in the speedrunning world. Awesome Games Done Quick, Summer Games Done Quick, European Speedster Assembly and lastly RPG Limit Break. RPGLB is centered entirely around speedrunning RPGs. It's already started, is being enjoyed by over 3,000 watchers right now, and I'm one of the runners this year (note that I haven't actually made it out there yet, have to fly Thursday)

But I will be running Saturday Morning RPG on Friday.

Will be doing an Ohio speedrunning marathon. This video is to advertise it. I like the footage and the ending.
Even though TF2 is dead, I'm still happy I made this video

After two months of recording, I've finally made a video starring myself, my friends and several users of TF2 on our never ending journey to become tryhards.

The jojo music was my friend's idea, and I didn't get him a birthday present, so yeah. I think it fits, but who knows.

Give it a view and a like so I can finally become a TF2 Youtube e-celeb. Thanks.
Promoting one of my friend's first video. He's still new to learning how youtube works. He just had to add notes/bubbles onto the video since youtube's video format clipped out some of the wording from his lettering on the video.

Edit: the video is gone. He's going to be fixing it since some people couldn't read most of what was written. So it will be awhile before he gets it going back up on youtube again.
Have since finished Freedom Planet and now playing a nice, relatively short, game called LiEat(Known as The Lie-Eating Dragon)

Promoting an entire event really that I just happen to be the main organizer of. But you may have seen me make comments about Buckeye Speed Bash on here before, and it starts tomorrow! It is a speedrunning marathon featuring runners from all corners of Ohio and even some bordering states. I will only be doing one run myself, but it starts tomorrow with some Pokemon Red speedruns! The event will include Mario games, Castlevania, Sly Cooper, Mega Man, Kirby and more! Please give it a watch!

It's a kind of short little documentary that I have a few words in about speedrunning. Commentary guy has an altered voice and it makes it seem a little weird. Besides that, neat little video.
Alright. Something from me. I haven't made a youtube video in A LOOOOOOONG time. So I took together an audio podcast that Ralph Bakshi was interviewed in around April of this year. And put it together on youtube. This took me about 3 days to do, but I'm finally satisfied that its done. I'll put the spoiler tag on this since there are a few images that are a bit PG13 like on here.

(Please give feedback on the video when you're done watching it please).
