i collected lots of cards.... that cant be found
I used to have a binder full of the first load of cards they released in the UK. We had a shop right next to my primary school that knew what kids where getting obsessed with and stocked a TON of it. I only have one card from it left, the rest where ruined by water damage. The last one is this guy here: http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/9/9e/O...ssil52.jpg
I think my brothers accumulated all of the originals, apart from Charizard somehow. Then we lost most of those.

We have about 2/3 of the collection somewhere.
My first ever card was actually a Metapod from the original set. A kid from school dropped it from his binder on our way home and I picked it up to give it back to him but he told me to keep it as he had multiple of those.

Then I got a few cards my sister had brought me from the US. I remember that one of them was a Doduo that I traded with a friend at some point. I later traded it back soon after because I felt bad for giving it away.
I have that really cool Charizard that everybody wants, yep, I'm so awesome.
Grade school was all about pokemon, Actually you were considered a nerd if you did not like pokemon pretty insane
I had 2 whole shoe-boxes filled with Pokemon cards.

I had to get rid of them because my parents said I was getting too old.

Same here :D About ten or so pages in that green folder were filled with Digimon cards, both playing and collectible. Then there were some weird cards in the black folder that were called "Chaotic" or something like that.
