So, I saw this video linking Skyrim to Fallout 3 with the sweetroll comment by guards from Skyrim and Butch stealing one in Fallout 3. One of the comments says this has been a thing since Daggerfall. Anyone who played older Elder Scrolls who can confirm?
Can confirm, and it should be TES:Arena actually where it started.

It was part of a question-set meant to help build your character and what class he/she was.

"While in town the baker gives you a sweetroll. Delighted you take it into an alley to enjoy, only to be intercepted by a gang of three other kids your age. The leader demands the sweetroll, or else he and his friends will beat you and take it. Do you:
a) Drop the sweetroll and step on it, then get ready for the fight?
b) Give him the sweetroll now without argument, knowing that later this afternoon you will have all your friends with you and can come and take whatever he owes you?
c) Act like you're going to give him the sweetroll but at the last minute throw it in the air, hoping that they'll pay attention to it long enough for you to get a shot in on the leader?"
So, we could phrase it something along the lines of "The Elder Scrolls series has an ongoing jokes dating back to Arena involving the theft of sweetrolls. This was taken literally in another Bethesda game, Fallout 3"
Isn't this already a DKYG?

I vaguely remember seeing it posted sometime in 2013 or so.

It may have been in a video but it isn't on the site.

So, figure there's anything else worth adding or should I go for it?
I've seen it on the Skyrim section, but it doesn't mention FO3.

So go for it, man.
