VGFacts

We've set up an official Mumble server so that users can voice chat with each other. The server will be host of not only VGFacts users, but also VG Resource. There will be rooms for people to join if they don't want to talk in a big open environment too.


Mumble is a voice chat service to allows users to talk to each other over microphone. It's free, and easy to use, with a typing aspect too which allows for text-to-speech too. It's pretty awesome, and great for talking with people without having to use a keyboard - great for socializing while still being productive in other things.

To join, simply open up Mumble, and add:
address: mumble.brokenrevolution.com
port: 64738

I'll be using this regularly, so I'll probably speak with some of your at some point!

Gonna try to set up my mic later, at the moment it's picking up "too much" background noise.

Seems like I should get back into Minecraft as well.

No joke man. I checked 3 separate times, 6 hours difference from first to last, and there was a lot of minecraft. I gotta remember my log in details.

I had a Minecraft server up for a while and would love a reason to put it back up. Would the community be interested in an official Minecraft server as well?

I'd say yes, but I'd probably be on it for a day and fail to commit. If other people like it then awesome though.

Don't have a computer than can run it ATM. (My desktop is packed and ready to move to our new house.) So I'm temporarly using the iPhone app and HOLY GEEZ is that thing outdated. (Especially on my iPad Air)
