Man, it would actually be a lot funnier if they had put it in the couple's bombchu place in clock town.
True, but it may have looked out of place. In the Research Lab, it fit right in. I never even noticed it the first time. I went and took a look for myself on the game after I saw it on the website that I copied the image from.
