Sorry for not posting in a while.

My favorite RTS would be Pikmin 2. There is just so much to collect and explore and fight. Pikmin 3 looked great, but having 3 different captains was just way too much for me, I would always get confused.

For 2D fighter I would say Super Smash Bros Melee. I would pick Smash 4, but it is lacking so much in the single player and offline modes.

It was a gud thread.

It isn't dead. It just has a terrible sleep schedule and wakes up with headaches.

Anyway, favorite Simulator.

I'm gonna go with Cities Skylines.
The only one I can think that I ever enjoyed was Roller Coaster Tycoon. In hindsight, those games were pretty stupid but I enjoyed them.
Katawa Shoujo. It's a dating sim. It's the only sim that I can think of that I have played and liked.

Well there's also Urbz and Sims Busting Out, but that's pretty basic.

edit: OH. There's also Harvest Moon 64/Wonderful Life, but I enjoy watching people play them more then playing them. Sims are just that boring to me.
I really don't like simulation games. They bore me beyond belief and they usually feel like a chore, which is not what I want from a videogame. So nothing from me.
This one's gonna be real specific just because I'm curious as to what you guys will say.
Games that utilize 2D and 3D graphics together.
For example, Chrono Cross.
[Image: 360?cb=20090722204728] 2D backgrounds with 3D figures overlaid on top, and for a PS1 game, it looked great.
Paper Mario series
using 2d sprites to make everyone look like paper in a 3d world. The best example would be The Thousand Year Door or Super.

Yoshi's Story

Honestly, if you are counting Chrono Cross in for this, it's my pick. Loved that game.
While the character designs feel like 2D animated characters despite being animated in 3D with 2D backgrounds. I'm gonna have to go with A Vamprye story. Its beautiful to look at

Think we can bring this back?

We most certainly can. Favorite singleplayer experience in a shooter with multiplayer.
I'll go with Star Wars Battlefront 2.

My vote would be for Call of Duty: World at War. I think I really enjoyed the single-player campaign of that game and as much as the multi-player wasn't bad by any means, I just really liked the single-player a lot. So that's 1st-Person Shooter at least.

If I went with a third-person shooter I'd have to say...that I can't come up with any off the top of my head that even had multi-player (that I played both sides of, at least). :(
Uncharted 3 then for me. The Multi-player itself wasn't all that great, but the story was amazing and really felt like a proper conclusion to a trilogy. Of course, that's not the case any longer, but at the time I think it did really well.
GUN was a preatty good TPS

Halo 2 is the only FPS that I have liked (that I can think of off the top of my head).

Real Life Card Games.

I don't much care for it anymore, but I guess I'm obligated to say Yu-Gi-Oh!
