I've not been able to search up specific words in games lately when going into the Search Icon (like names of someone), lately it's only been able to pick up Game Names. This has been the case since that Update to VGFacts in April.
I'm not sure I follow. The search bar has always defaulted to game names but you can use the filter on on any of the other pages to search against series, developers, or consoles.

I'm referring to this, when I type up a word listed in Trivia Pieces. Haven't been able to do that since that Update in April.
Oh, okay. Yeah, the search doesn't look in the trivia itself. The old method was a Google search which looked at the entire site but never worked well. We found most searches were for games or series anyway and switched back to our original search style.

It was pretty nice to search up Trivia Containing Specific Words (like developers such as Miyamoto and Sakurai) in my oppinion, but now it doesn't seem like I can, unless there's a Plan B to finding that.
I got you covered.
Put this into your google search engine.

Change esrb to whatever you want to search for on this site in particular.

This is literally what the original search bar did so you should get the same results there.
Did you read any of the other posts in this thread? Psychospacecow, two posts ago, told you exactly what you need to do to get that old behavior back. The old search bar was just a pre-configured Google search which you can still do via Google directly if that's what you want. Through testing and talking to our users, we found the current search system to be more effective which is why we changed it.
