A lot of users have reported that they are getting logged into random accounts and cannot access their own. I'm just giving you all a heads up to remind you not to log out of your steam account and not to change any of your credit card information, access the steam store or follow any links.

I can't give any source, but there are people who has had this happen to them on reddit and such. Like

I wonder if this is more hackers thinking they're cool by doing this, or if this is just some massive screw up by Valve. They could easily take the servers offline and deal with the problem instead of leaving it on and letting people panic until they fix it.

Just a heads up regardless.
I don't understand why hackers do this kind of stuff. It's really pointless for hackers to do this kind of stuff. Like what do they want from Steam or Valve?
Here's a more latest reddit post on this issue.

Issue has been resolved.
Any word on this being fixed or is it still have bugs that need to be taken out?
I haven't gotten a clear answer. Some sources that I've looked at say that it's still not okay, while some others suggest that it's okay now, but fail to address whether or not it is. Valve still hasn't said anything, so I'd stay off of it.
I'm sure it's on crutches at the moment as though they blew their legs and just recently put them back together. It's almost like any other site that breaks. It takes a while for it to return to 100%.
Steam has just revealed how this all happened, all I can say is that this ain't good.

It's a good thing I wasn't visiting it consistently at that time. I only clicked onto it at least one time that whole day.
Say, has anyone notice if any of your games that you downloaded off of steam disappeared from your desktop or anywhere else on your computer? I noticed that the shortcut to Skullgirls was gone. I hope this doesn't effect on our purchased games.
Downloaded off of Skype? I'm assuming you mean Steam but correct me if I'm wrong. As for that, there is no known reason for why ANYTHING on your computer would be different. It was probably someone on your end deleting the shortcut. Even more reason if the game itself is still there, then the person who tried to kill off your game was most likely technologically illiterate.
