Joe Mauer, of the Minnesota Twins, is the only cover athlete to appear on the cover for 2 years. Coincidentally, both appearances as cover athlete are in consecutive years.

CANCEL!!! Jose Bautista appeared in years 12 and 13 on the Canadian cover.
Wei-Yin Chen appeared thrice in Taiwanese releases
