Odallus: The Dark Call is an indie game that's meant to be a love letter to the classic Castlevania games on the NES and SNES, and I noticed that even the DLC outfits for the main character reflect this.
There's only three so far, but based on their Steam page descriptions, the Vampire Hunter skin is a nod to Simon Belmont of the Castlevania series, referencing Castlevania II: Simon's Quest in its Steam description ("What a awful night to be damned!"), the Royal Knight skin is a nod to Sir Arthur from Ghosts N' Goblins ("A better armour than your underpants! Rescue the one you love in a shiny armour..."), and the Red Gargoyle skin is a nod to the Firebrand enemy from Ghosts N' Goblins, who later became playable in Gargoyle's Quest ("The best way to defeat demons is becoming one of them!")
