In case you aren't paying attention, Anime Expo dropped two major bombs on fans today with games. First off, the release date of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has been set for October 25th. This puts it in line to release alongside Dragon Quest Builders and The Last Guardian. Next, Sword Art Online got a release window of Fall 2016, which means the game is releasing ahead of when it was expected to, which was until today, early 2017. The announcement came with a trailer and the knowledge that there's a collector's edition of the game which includes two 6 inch figurines, one of Kirito and one of Asuna as well as Steelbook, mini posters, an exclusive Blu-Ray, the soundtrack for the game, an Artbook and some decals. Of course it all comes in a nice box if you are to collect those.

Also, since it's technically an anime game, there's new Pokemon which we saw yesterday and got a different trailer for today so here's those.

I have to wonder why the English trailer always sucks so much more than the Japanese one.

Anyways though, there's a lot to be excited about if you are a fan of anime games and this is only day one. We might get more the next two days. What are you most excited about with all of this? I honestly really want that collectors edition for SAO. That's not a bad deal for all that's in there.
