You know these enemies from the Sonic Franchise called Buzz Bombers. I recently noticed that they have the same name as a game for the Intellivison that released in 1983.

The objective of that game is to bomb a swarm of bees (of which Buzz Bombers are Bee Enemies), and the Buzz Bomber enemies in the Sonic Games are bombing bees.

Though a Coincidence, it appears that despite the name, these Buzz Bombers have no real connection, so submission disapproved.
