An interesting bit of trivia, this.
When starting a new game in Sid Meier's Civilization IV, you're treated to a little movie while the game generates the map. The movie tells of the creation of the Earth and the rise of humankind, as narrated by the late Leonard Nimoy.
In fact, something I just realized today is that this opening movie is essentially a remake of the opening to the original Sid Meier's Civilization, using an updated rendition of the background music and with Leonard Nimoy reading the exact same text aloud (the original version simply showed the text on-screen)
