These are the first release of Mr. Fujisaka's few image roughs of the character design.

-Initial Image Rough-

These are the image roughs produced during the initial stage of the production. They contain the original that led to the final versions as well as others that were not featured in the game as fragments of ideas; quite interesting.

A woman who is the ancestor of "Furiae", goddess Ashira. She is not in this installment.

The king of fairies who was in the last installment. Unfortunately, he is not included in Drag-On Dragoon 2.

"Nowe" and "Manah" combo illustration. Another pattern included "Legna" at the back. There is also a draft include "Eris".

A quite unique illustration featuring Nowe and Urick. The back features other main characters Legna, Manah, and Erisu.

Merchants on street and village. The metal smith's hairstyle actually referred to the producer's hairstyle during the production.

Furiae and Inuart before their engagement broke. The most peaceful and happiest moment. Their mature and poise expressions are not displayed in this installment.

Arioch (above) and Leonard (Right). If they are in this installment, with that look/feeling... that kind of design.

The pose of Nowe who bears the Real Human Mark. The mark was drawn a bit bigger than it should be.

-Characters' stand up illustrations-

Here are the standing pose of the characters featured from page 28 to 41. Among all the characters, Mr. Fujisaka worked the hardest on the roughs of Nowe.

The design that is between the formal and casual look of a Seal Knight. A bit muscular.

The standing pose of Seal Knight in uniform, looking like a grown up.

Compared to the ones above, these feel sharper, very finished.

While just a rough sketch, the sword design in casual clothes was already finalized.

A color scheme of the casual clothes, compared to the final illustration, the places colored red are a bit different.

Urick, while the pose was determined, the mask was a mistaken trial.

Another pose variation of Urick, emphasizing on the impression of Death.

Male version of Hanch design.

A more down-to-earth Oror, from this point and on he picked up dual wielding and equipment were also upgraded, becoming fancier.

Gismor's another pose. The emblem was placed on the face.

Zangpo, while the pose was finalized, he faces got younger and looking more worldly.
