When released in Japan, Turok: Dinosaur Hunter was renamed "時空戦士テュロック" (Dimensional Warrior Turok).
Turok 2: Seeds of Evil was named to "暴力キラー:テュロック新世代" (Violencekiller: Turok New Generation).
Oddly, the Gameboy version of Turok 2 retained the North American title, while the Gameboy version of the first game gained a new subtitle "バイオノザウルスの戦い" (Battle of Bionosaurus (?))
