Cubivore: Survival of the Fittest (also known as Animal Leader in Japan) almost made it to the Nintendo 64 and its Disk Drive add-on. It was shown at SpaceWorld in 2000. Unfortunately, the Disk Drive was a commercial failure, resulting in the game being made on a standard cartridge, and then to the GameCube.
