The starter Warframe "Excalibur" is actually based off the Prototype armor that is worn by Hayden Tenno from one of ({Digital Extreme})'s previous games [[Dark Sector]]. There is even a purchasable skin for the frame as well as the Glaive weapon called the Proto-Armor and the Glaive Proto skin, paying homage to the original armor and weapon for Hayden Tenno.
Additionally, the player faction/race is called the "Tenno", also referencing Hayden Tenno.
