The errors were due to me changing the MySQL configuration while the site was up and running - the problem we have is we can't tweak and stress test when the site is set to offline.
How are you finding the speed on the site browsing between pages or between the forum and main site?

At the moment, its pretty good. I am not lurking as much because I've got things to do now but it runs fairly well.
