That Mega 6 cartridge on the Mega Drive that came with Sega Soccer, Columns, Super Monaco GP, The Revenge of Shinobi, Sonic 1 and Streets of Rage but that came with the system so that might not count. Hmmm... Sonic 2 and WWF Super Wrestlemania from a car boot sale? They were the earliest games I can remember that wasn't the multi-cart. Desert Strike, Taz: Escape from Mars and Sonic & Knuckles were my first brand new games back when Electronics Boutique existed and that store was only just opened back in 1997.

Bought with my own money? I really can't remember. Might be some PS1 game on the £20 Platinum range since games cost £40 (£60 for N64 carts) and that was a lot of money when you only had £2.50 pocket money a week.
Mario Kart 64
Pokemon Yellow. Took me awhile to get into gaming. XD
The first game I owned was Pokemon Red Version.
Super Mario World
I'm not entirely sure to be honest.

I think Pokémon Gold was the first, it was a gift for Christmas, and it was mine. Although that was a gift, so I didn't really buy it or anything.

The first game I technically bought was The Wind Waker, but the money was from my father that I saved up.

Even though, when I think about it, all my games have been from my parents or brothers. I've never really owned any.
First game i had was Fire Red but it was a gift but first game i bought was Ratchet and Clank 2 and Jak and Daxter for PS2.
Co-ownership was Super Mario World, first true game I ever owned was Donkey Kong Country. First one I actually bought was probably Pokemon Blue.
