It doesn't happen frequently but it happens very rarely that I want to know why it happens like that?

After a few minutes, I open my 3ds and it stays blank. Sometimes I close and open it and it resumes gameplay while other times I press the power button and it resumes gameplay. Does this happen to any of you guys?

It rarely happens to me. Last time it happened, I fixed it but it was so long ago, that I forgot how I did it.

On the DsI there was an override button that could be pressed in the cartridge socket look up and see if its still there on the 3ds.

No its not there i'm afraid.

Also has anyone else had this problem?

I've had my 3DS since it was released and this has NEVER happened to me. Are you experiencing the problem on a 3DS XL? If so, what model(i.e limited edition pikachu, black, white, monster hunter limited edition)?
