Pretty much anything by Hans Zimmer gets my nod of approval.
Can't say I know anything by someone with that name. Or at least if I do, I don't know that the song was composed by Hans Zimmer.

Oh, trust me. You know Hans Zimmer.Unless you've never seen ANY of the Nolan Batman films, the Pirates of the Carribean movies, the Madagascar movies, or the Sherlock Holmes movies(Among many, many others.)
My favorite group for trailers/games/movies is Two Steps from Hell.
Not really a movie but here.

It's also likely that you have heard songs from John Williams (Star Wars, Jaws, Harry Potter) and Danny Elfman (Beetlejuice, Batman, Spiderman, Men In Black). These three really can't be ignored unless you do not watch TV or Movies, play video games, or Go out side and interact with people.
Williams is a personal favorite of mine. Elfman's music has a certain sound I can always seemingly identify.

Oh well, in that case, I guess I have. I consider myself a movie buff in a lot of ways, but I'm not so familiar with composer names. I need to get on learning more about that.
I love the music that Danny Elfman did for Dick Tracy. Although this is a guilty pleasure for some, I enjoy the score to Howard the duck
Listened to the soundtrack to this movie as I was doodling a couple of pictures. I dont know what makes it good. Either the feel of the 40s. or that one of my favorite composers did the soundtrack.
