the Anime 2 haircut looks to me like a Sailor Moon reference.

That "Asterix" helmet looks like what the name of it says. A generic viking helmet. It looks more like Thor's, and even that is very generic.

The "Speed Racer" helmet is not actually from Speed Racer. That's more likely a reference to Gatchaman where all characters represented a bird (Eagle, Condor, Swan, Swallow, Owl). Look at the visor, it's beak shaped. Speed Racer's is an oldschool racing helmet.

Finally, that Red Power Ranger isn't right either. I swear I've seen that mask before, it's some Japanese tokusatsu series character but I can't quite place a finger on it. In any case, a red mask like that is pretty common within the genre.

First off, the main chaircter's name is Speed Racer in America (creative, I know) or Gō Mifune in Japan.

Second, I think he looks more like Ken the Eagle from Gatchaman (or Mark from Battle of the Planets if you prefer). The name "Space Hawk" seems to agree with this fact, since it seems to have a combination of both names.

Looking at the hair, I think it looks more like Sephiroth's hair, though they do have very similar hairstyles. I have yet to play the game, but apparently this was meant to be a sign of their "implied connection" (whatever that means).

The blue hair in unlabeled looks like Cloud's hair, but well blue.
