What hypothetical vidjagame would never possibly sell very well based on either how terrible the game itself is, or how terrible the mere concept is?
I'm thinking about a turn based RPG where you play as a level one Goblin. You can never level up, you can never gain any exp or items, and you almost never get to kill anyone unless they're really stupid. The entire game is just different parties of adventurers beating the sh*t out of you.

A point-and-click adventure where you play as an office worker trying to find his Excel spreadsheets before the big meeting. (Spoiler alert: They were never there to begin with.)

An FPS game where your only weapon is a peashooter and all additional weapons cost $20 and up. Then again, I'm sure some idiot would still play the game.
Btw. I'm sure that text based driving game would become a cult hit.

Mario Kart Text!
As for a game that wouldn't sell...
A game where all you do is pretty much roll stuff around into a ball...
