Once again, I missed the creation of an interesting thread because I don't browse nearly as much as I'd like. I'm glad this thread is back, it's a nice random place where we can get to know each other better.
I've been messing around with GIMP recently and I've actually been having fun doing photo editing. Maybe one day I'll be good enough to make it a job.

Speaking of weather, it's crazy out here. First it's +30°C and I'm dying from the heat, then in a few days the wind grows so strong that despite the sun shining bright it's really, really cold. There was also this insane thunder storm that started in the blink of an eye. Like, almost literally. I look out the window, it's day, I turn back to watch TV and suddenly it's dark as night.
Now today I've experienced rain, hail, sleet AND snow. All the while the sun is shining and it's supposed to be summer. All this within two hours.

I hate summer so much.
Being hot is worse than being cold.
If you're cold put on a sweater go under a blanket and you're warm again.
If you're hot you can do anything you want, you'll still be hot again 10 minutes later.

It just rained really hard for about 14 seconds.
Now everything is wet and the humidity is sky high.

I prefer the cold anyway.

Has anyone used the Windows 8 Skype? Oh man is it terrible. This is the suckiest version of the program yet.

This is why I don't want Windows 8 everything about the layout is awful, and they don't even give you the option for the old look, you have to go to third parties to make it function like Windows 7 and prior.

I only have Win8 on my laptop because it already had it when bought. Obviously I have Win7 on my actual computer. Win8 is a terrible OS and I can't understand who thought it was a good idea in any way.
It's like they made an OS for a tablet and thought it was good enough for a computer too. It isn't.

Sometimes I don't like writing. I write a sentance, I delete it. I make it an entire paragraph and then delete. I write three words and then delete it. Then I delete back to the beginning of the chapter. Then I AAAAAAAAAAAAAARG

I just opened the forums, started scrolling down (clicked NOTHING), and BAM! Advertisement. A loud one. Full page too.

Aye. THere's these side banner things. Now they're Fifa. Those are the ones that are quite intrusive.

They come up when you hover over the ad for 3 seconds.

Not always, unfortunately.

The only other way it could happen is if you hover over it and then move out of the window. If the last thing you were hovering over was the ad then it still counts. If they didn't respond like that then we wouldn't have those ads running.

I'm not sure if anyone here watches True Blood but, my whole family just freaked out because there are scenes in the show where they filmed inside of the house my family lived in 8-9 years ago and they filmed in the church next to it.
