My favorite Pokemon game generation was Gold/Silver. Since that's the case, Johto is mine.

My favorite region is Johto, mainly because it was so new and evolved, better in aspect than Pokemon Yellow. I just fell in love with Pokemon Gold when I got it.

my favorite is also Johto. my first Pokémon games were Gold and Silver (yes I had both cartridges) so I have the fondest memories of it. second would probably be Sinnoh and then Unova following closely.

Johto will always be the best in my book,
The level design has been well thought out and how it combined with Kanto was genius.

Every region offers something awesome...but Kanto has the least interesting people and towns. I understand it's the first in the series and thus getting its game "personality" down but with further improvements to the region as the games went on, it just proves how primitive Kanto is. B/W2(Unova) has impressive looking cities which a nice variety of people...if all they ever talk about is somehow Pokemon related. But...I'd still vote Hoenn. The first series to really push environments, different terrain and larger cities.

Unova is mine. I just really like the feel of the Gen 5 games compared to all of the other Gens so far

My favourite was Hoenn, not only for the design but for all of the Pokemon from it. However I don't dislike any of them. They all have a place in my heart! :D

probably no one says Orre because it doesn't have any new Pokémon, and I guess the locations don't stick out that much compared to the main games.
having played Pokémon XD however, I liked Orre.

While the nostalgia goggle clad manchild in me wants to say Kanto since I grew up playing Blue, I honestly think that nowadays Jhoto is just better. It's more expansive, has a lot more too see, and all of the new pokemon were great, plus 2 of my 3 favorite poke's are 2nd gen.
Seriously guys, I have a thing for Furret and it's f*cking weird.

Kanto's the most cohesive
Pokemon locations and the relative locations of all the cities make the most sense there
