The Sporting News - Kakariko Kid - 11-01-2015 It's simple - anything sports related. Maybe it's big sporting news, a picture, a video or a big play/hit that makes you say Okay, here's what I got: The Kansas City Royals are leading the World Series 3 games to 1 against the New York Mets. Emmanuel Moseley was ejected for targeting during the Tennessee Volunteer vs. Kentucky Wildcats NCAA football game (BS calI btw). Watch the video here (not on YouTube yet, so I didn't know how to imbed it. I may have to just put a link up to a website that has it) http://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/sec-football/tennessee-defensive-back-delivers-big-hit/ Finally, this 8 lateral desperation play is Play of the Year candidate. I haven't seen anything this crazy in a loooooooong time (of course, the ACC refs there are as bad as the SEC refs. They completely missed the guy's knee down before the lateral, a player ran into the field without a helmet and several blocks in the back) RE: The Sporting News - SERIOUSLY THOUGH - 11-01-2015 Soooo they essentially switched to playing rugby ? RE: The Sporting News - Kakariko Kid - 11-01-2015 Yep. The American Athletic Conference (ACC) officials in that game, along with the replay official, were all suspended. They cost Duke the game and Miami did not deserve that win. RE: The Sporting News - Kakariko Kid - 11-02-2015 The Kansas City Royals defeated the New York Mets in game 5 to win the World Series of Major League Baseball RE: The Sporting News - SERIOUSLY THOUGH - 11-02-2015 (11-02-2015, 04:38 PM)Kakariko Kid Wrote: The Kansas City Royals defeated the New York Mets in game 5 to win the World Series of Major League Baseball They beat the BlueJays, so I must give them a grudgingly respectful "booo". Personally, I hoped the Cubs would have gone all the way. I'm glad the Yankees didn't win, though. RE: The Sporting News - Psychospacecow - 11-02-2015 So Back To The Future 2 was wrong? RE: The Sporting News - retrolinkx - 11-03-2015 The last sporting news I remember was when Brazil lost 7 -1 to Germany. How out of date am I with sports? RE: The Sporting News - SERIOUSLY THOUGH - 11-09-2015 http://www.bbc.com/sport/athletics/34765444 Is there anything sports related that isn't completely untrustworthy ? How are we supposed to enjoy sports when there's always that niggling doubt that everyone is hopped up one something :( RE: The Sporting News - Kakariko Kid - 11-10-2015 Tommy Hanson, former pitcher of the Atlanta Braves, died at 29 years of age due to catastrophic organ failure. RE: The Sporting News - RepentantSky - 11-14-2015 It's gaming and sports related news, but this is a thing: https://www.sportsbusinessdaily.com/Daily/Issues/2015/11/13/Marketing-and-Sponsorship/Fallout-4.aspx The things people do to get attention. This is just dumb. RE: The Sporting News - Psychospacecow - 11-14-2015 http://www.twitch.tv/ronaldokun USFIV tourney going on right now. Got a little bit of time still while they're working out the bracket. Shouldn't take too much longer but if you see this post within 4 hours of its posting, its quite possible that its still going on. |
