Games you're a noob at, but want to learn - Beware of Cuccos - 04-22-2013 In this thread, post games you enjoy playing, but don't really know what you're doing. If you see someone post a game you're good at, offer them some help! For me, it's WoW. I started a few months ago. I just reached my first level 40 yesterday. -I still haven't joined a guild. I have no idea how they work, and i'm afraid I won't be able to get on when they need me, and that i'm not good enough. -I don't really know which "spells" (?) to put in the row of buttons at the bottom of the screen. -And i've never been in a dungeon. Other stuff I need help with comes and goes, and I never know what it is until it happens (so I may randomly post questions). I have just been solo-questing. But I am enjoying myself! It's a lot more fun than I thought it would be. If you see someone post a game you're good at, offer them some help! A guild is a group of people who tolerate each others' company for the sake of monetary gain. Dungeons work off a very harsh meta-game where if you're not playing the role you said you were then you will be kicked out and have to requeue for another try.(Which is why I like Guild Wars 2's dungeon meta-game alot better.) Most games I'm been a noob in as of recent have been mastered to an okay degree. RE: Games you're a noob at, but want to learn - Mass Distraction - 04-22-2013 Fighters but my hands just can't keep up with the combos. Not really much I can do about it. RE: Games you're a noob at, but want to learn - Hexadecimal - 04-22-2013 I'm still terrible with the fusion system in the SMT games. It seems like with P4: Golden they're majorly dumbing it down by letting you pick which skill you wants to pass on, though. I'm really struggling with Soul Hackers. I'm not sure what is a good team, how to distribute stat points, or how to fuse a really good Zeed. The older games are pretty darn tough. RE: Games you're a noob at, but want to learn - Lazlo Falconi - 04-22-2013 Oh god Team Hat Simulator 2. The game is fun by itself, but I also have a great group of people to play with. I'm just not good at twitch-shooters. At all. RE: Games you're a noob at, but want to learn - TomGuycott - 04-22-2013 Armored Core. Most games that have online play only have a very pro community still online, if any at all, and I just wish I was better for having a human vs human giant robot experience. Of course I don't have the most recent games if they made anything easier to handle, the last one I played was AC4 RE: Games you're a noob at, but want to learn - TheTrueBoss997 - 04-22-2013 Fast fighting games like Marvel vs Capcom. I am already good at games like Mortal Kombat, Injustice, Tekken and Street Fighter but games like Marvel vs Capcom require you to be faster and it's really hard for me to keep up. I assume you've never played those on the Turbo setting. Does that makes sense? RE: Games you're a noob at, but want to learn - Berry - 04-22-2013 Currently struggling with FPS,because of my damn left hand. Other than that,i haven't really been noobish on other things. RE: Games you're a noob at, but want to learn - Psychospacecow - 04-22-2013 3D fighters. I can beat my friends who don't have the games, but if I go online, death shall befall me. RE: Games you're a noob at, but want to learn - Arjahn - 04-22-2013 BlazBlue Continuum shift, I love that game but I am terrible at it. RE: Games you're a noob at, but want to learn - Hexadecimal - 04-22-2013 Put me on the list of wanting to be good at fighting games in general. The only one I'm really good at is Bloody Roar, but that's because you don't have to push 80 buttons to pull off a move. RE: Games you're a noob at, but want to learn - Ouberry_13 - 04-22-2013 I'd say MMO's, because I generally prefer to do exploration and dungeon crawling/boss fights solo. The only time I join a guild/party/band/whatever is if I know the people from real life, and even then, I tend to leave the group after a few days because I want to do my own thing. Honestly, the same goes for any game that has a heavy online community, not just MMO's. I guess this isn't really me being a noob at the games, I'm just a noob at being a good teammate. RE: Games you're a noob at, but want to learn - BumblebeeCody - 04-22-2013 Well if anyone wants to learn any fighting game, then you can just ask me for info on pretty much any game or how to get started or other information OR want to learn via online......It's free. It's a button based fighter. I've always wanted to get good ad MOBA games. I think it's because I usually play those on my own that I don't find them enjoyable and thus aren't as good as I should be at them. |
