RE: The Walking Thread (SPOILERS!!) - gamemaster1991 - 11-05-2014

While there are extremely attractive cast members on this show, of both sexes, I could care less about that. That's not what the show is about. Charming or manly, I just want to see their story of survival.

All I meant was that they need to keep the characters interesting. There is so much of hunting and running that we can really see. If they just have every character be "Badass who fears nothing," we quickly get uninteresting men and butch uninteresting women. It's the reason I like Beth despite being a bitch at times.

That water gun scene was awesome, but at the same time I was thinking, "You idiots! Your wasting water!".

Also the shit just hit the fan.

Next Week: The Hospital from Hell Part 2.

RE: The Walking Thread (SPOILERS!!) - Beware of Cuccos - 11-11-2014

I'm glad Eugene finally came out and told the truth. That was the last big spoiler I knew form the comics. I'm now out of date with the comics-to-show aspect. I need to catch up!

RE: The Walking Thread (SPOILERS!!) - Zaliphone - 11-11-2014

I enjoyed this week's episode a lot more than last week. Maybe it's because it's so far from the comics, but something about the hospital stuff just doesn't appeal to me.

And with Eugene telling the truth, I'm very excited with how far into the comics the show is getting. I can't wait to see how they handle some upcoming situations.

RE: The Walking Thread (SPOILERS!!) - retrolinkx - 11-12-2014

I can't be the only one who laughed at Eugene watching them do it.

I mean, they fucking knew and he wasn't even being discrete about it. His head was just above the fucking bookcase staring at them.

When he told the truth, you could see Abe was on the brink of a mental breakdown but was controlling the best he could until Eugene said "I am smarter than you". Hell, I'd punch him if he said that.

Also, Abe's family was fucking stupid. This is the kind of man that would do anything for the people he loved, and you can fucking see it, and so killing FOUR people with his fists and a can somehow made you think "Yeah, fuck it, I'm scared of this man now for some reason, now I'm going to leave with the kids and get myself killed a few feet away from the store"

I guess it's Season 1 stupidity, it affected everyone on the show and going back to flashbacks just make people go back to being stupid.

I don't know. If you only know someone for being a nice person and charming and than you see them snap and eathir attmpt to kill someone or in this case do kill someone, I would be scared too. There's a reason most killers have some one say "I had no idea. He was such a nice guy." He also has the (dis)advantage of being an army vet, and I've seen how war can change someone's out look on someone.

^

I guess, but you know that man is going to protect you if he's going to kill four people for your safety.

I could understand a lot of outlash and arguing from the family and them being scared, but this man most likely loves all of them. The only logical conclusion I can think of is them thinking that he'll hurt them, and that is understandable.

Would you want to travle with a man who could beat you to death with a can of beans if you made him mad? Granted they did not know if he would or not, but I think it was a scare reflex for them.

RE: The Walking Thread (SPOILERS!!) - Mass Distraction - 11-18-2014

Had to catch up two episodes before the new one.

Slabtown: The hell is wrong with this place? At least Gorman got what was coming.

Self Help: Abraham's family was a bunch of dicks and WHAT THE HELL EUGENE? That was one nasty fall, though. Ouch.

Consumed: That hit Carol took looked painful. Anyone else see the tank from season 1?

RE: The Walking Thread (SPOILERS!!) - Kakariko Kid - 11-25-2014

I found http://watchseries.ag/serie/the_walking_dead
That was my first Google result when I keyed it in.

I know nothing about that site, or if it's legal, but might be worth checking out.

RE: The Walking Thread (SPOILERS!!) - Beware of Cuccos - 11-25-2014

On the Abraham killing people with beans issue-

In the books, Abraham goes out on a run. His family stays behind with the others in their group. When he returns, he finds his entire family has been raped by the others in the group. This was his reaction. I can't say I blame him. I would have done the same thing. That being said, I can't imagine what his wife was thinking, especially with the kids. Her mind was probably everywhere at once, trying to think of what's best for the kids. Here we have a man that is willing to protect them, but at the same time he's able to snap and just kill people without thinking.

I think Abraham was more than justified in what he did, but i'm not mad at the wife for being afraid of a part of him she had never seen.

RE: The Walking Thread (SPOILERS!!) - Kakariko Kid - 11-25-2014

I wondered why he killed them. Good job, Cuccos.

RE: The Walking Thread (SPOILERS!!) - retrolinkx - 11-25-2014

Was all that was in the bag the Yoyo?

RE: The Walking Thread (SPOILERS!!) - Kakariko Kid - 11-26-2014

Sunday, I caught up on the two episodes before Sunday night's episode. My 7 year olds daughter decided to watch some of it with me, but not the new episode since I had to take her to her mom's house.
I got her today and she asks, while eating supper, "how was the walking dead?". That made me laugh.

That's not legal though.
