RE: Youtube but not the videos - ZpaceJ0ck0 - 11-08-2017 Friendly reminder that the Youtube personality know as "Count Dankula" is going to trial tomorrow. For those out there who are unawere of what happened, basically he uploaded a video of his girlfriend's pug giving a Nazi salute. The joke here was at the expense of the Nazis. The joke in that video is that nobody likes Nazis (Dankula wanted to piss off his girlfriend by teahching her dog something not cute)... yet they make Count Dankula look like HE was a Nazi himself. Honestly, if the dude actually goes to jail over this, then the U.K will became the laughing stock of the world (Sorry BumblebeeCody/retrolinkx, you know it's true). It doesn't matter if you (the one reading this) found the joke funny or not, that's besides the point. On a side note: "Sorry m8. Jokes making fun of Nazis are illegal now". http://www.nydailynews.com/news/crime/scot-arrested-video-dog-saluting-hitler-warning-article-1.2631832 (further reading) RE: Youtube but not the videos - ZpaceJ0ck0 - 11-09-2017 Count Dankula's no case to answer plea rejected RE: Youtube but not the videos - ZpaceJ0ck0 - 11-30-2017 For those unaware, the "Nazi pug" video two posts above has been placed on restricted mode. I mean, there are FAR more messed up videos on Youtube, yet they put one that makes fun of Nazis on restricted mode? Seems about right. Like I said, if Count Dankula actually goes to jail over this then the U.K will became the laughing stock of the world (Sorry BumblebeeCody/retrolinkx, you know it's true). RE: Youtube but not the videos - ZpaceJ0ck0 - 12-31-2017 It's official, George 'Joji' Miller is quitting Filthy Frank for good in order to pursue his music career. http://archive.is/a0m2N I had a feeling something like this would happen sooner or later, especially considering the three month absence after he published the "Francis of the filth" book (added it to my bucket list). It was fun while it lasted, but nothing lives forever. It's a shame the story of FF ended on a cliffhanger, thought. Either way, I wish George the best of luck with his future projects, and I will make sure to follow him through that journey. P.S While we are at it, let me remind this guy was responsible for creating the "Harlem Shake" meme that took the world by storm a few years back. Let's say those magic words one last time, shall we? "IT'S FILTHY FRANK, MOTHERFUCKER! IT'S FILTHY FRANK, BITCH! (Let's get some pussy toniighttt)" - The outro for many of Frank's videos RE: Youtube but not the videos - ZpaceJ0ck0 - 01-05-2018 So I recently found this at the r/FilthyFrank subreddit. Quote:On his first youtube account, DizastaMusic I don't know about you, but finding about this makes me more glad that he can finally pursue his dreams. I rooted for George 'joji' Miller in the past, and I will root for him in the years to come. RE: Youtube but not the videos - ZpaceJ0ck0 - 01-16-2018 Count Dankula's "Nations of the World" parody video got false-flagged, taken down, & he got a community strike. Now unable to stream for 3 months. For reference, here's a mirror of the polemic video. This guy can't never catch a break, can he? RE: Youtube but not the videos - ZpaceJ0ck0 - 02-25-2018 According to the Military Arms Channel YouTube is starting to go after gun channels, they have already taken down a few channels already. Military Arms Channel has received a strike against his channel making him pull down all his videos until he can challenge the decision made by YouTube. RE: Youtube but not the videos - Psychospacecow - 02-25-2018 Wouldn't be surprised if its an algorithm screw up or if that's their plan presently. They haven't been able to monetize things for a few months since Youtube started this whole demonetization nonsense. RE: Youtube but not the videos - ZpaceJ0ck0 - 03-08-2018 ReviewTechUSA's video about Trump blaming video games for the recent mass shooting got shut down and placed on limited status because of the word "Trump". He mentions that the situation is so bad that he plans to take the channel in "another direction" if this continues. RE: Youtube but not the videos - ZpaceJ0ck0 - 03-18-2018 Bento, Keyboard Cat the second, has passed away RE: Youtube but not the videos - ZpaceJ0ck0 - 03-20-2018 Count Dankula has just been found guilty. Does anyone here remembers Jewish comedian Mel Brooks? After fighting the Nazi party at the height of their power, when they were actually capable of killing millions, the guy decided to set his life's mission to ruthlessly mock and denigrate the Nazis and Hitler so that no one could ever take their positions seriously again. Why am I bringing this up? Because we are living in a future were Nazis are pretty much everywhere (apparently!), and unless you are rabidly and actively opposed to them, then you're trying to help them out. Even if you're making jokes at their expense like Count Dankula did. EDIT: here's Count Dankula's post-trial speech to journalists. RE: Youtube but not the videos - Psychospacecow - 03-21-2018 Anyone else finding themselves suddenly subscribed to channels they've previously unsubscribed from all at once recently? RE: Youtube but not the videos - ZpaceJ0ck0 - 03-21-2018 Mrs Dank (Count Dankula's girlfriend) on his boyfriend being found guilty: "I have so much to say about what has happened today that it all comes flooding too fast for my brain and fingers to process. Today we lost a 2 year battle that should never have been a battle in the first place. We have been used as an example and I'm furious." She must feel awful about the whole situation, and for good reason. If only there was an easy way to make her life more bearable... The situation is so bad in fact, that gun channel inRangeTV has moved it's content to PornHub (not leaving a direct link for obvious reason). Given that MindGeek is owner of most of the pornographic content on the Internet (PornHub included), I don't expect them to have a hard line when it comes to freedom of speech. Granted, this move does limit people from accessing certain content while at work/school, but if they end up being good hosts and it seems that they are OK with the idea, then it's a good step in the right direction. If this takes off, then MindGeek could create a SFW website "VidHub", where content creators would refugee out of Youtube and into MindGeek's arms (if any company can compete with Youtube/Google, it is them). RE: Youtube but not the videos - ZpaceJ0ck0 - 03-27-2018 Jonathan Pie's video response to the Nazis Pug case gets reported to the Met Police Want to know what's the worst part of this? The report was an experiment, but the police's response was (sadly) too real. For reference, here's the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ti2bVS40cz0 |
