I watched Frozen when someone had it up on youtube for just a teeny bit. Movie was good. Girl was good. *scratches self* RE: At the Movies! - RepentantSky - 03-30-2014 (03-27-2014, 07:56 PM)CLXcool Wrote:I love this short so much. It's honestly one of Disney's most clever and it probably something Walt himself would have enjoyed.(03-27-2014, 07:47 PM)Hexadecimal Wrote:Yeah, Get a horse was played before they showed Frozen in the theaters.(03-27-2014, 01:52 PM)CLXcool Wrote: Hex, since you didn't like Frozen. RE: At the Movies! - CLXcool - 03-30-2014 ^Get a horse was the most creative short films I've seen for a while to come out of Disney with Mickey mouse(plus its Mickey's first theatrical cartoon in years since the 1996's release of Runaway Brain). Shame that it didn't win an oscar. I hope Disney makes more theatrical cartoons of Mickey and his friends similar in vein of Get of Horse(in terms of animation of course). RE: At the Movies! - GameWizard001 - 04-16-2014 Well this monstrous abomination of film exists now.....excuse me while I try and invent a time machine so I may go back to before the concept of bullshit ideas came into existence. http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/04/16/new-poster-for-leprechaun-origins RE: At the Movies! - Newt - 04-16-2014 I'm about to say something really controversial. I hate that we call them "Little People" now. THAT sounds like a slur. If I were them, I'd want to be called a dwarf. Dwarves are fucking badass. Have you SEEN Gimli? Have you SEEN Thorin? You don't mess with them. They kill you. Think Thorin would appreciate being called a "little person?" Hell no. Hell, I'd settle for halfling, hobbit or gnome. May not be a warrior but he is badass in his own right. RE: At the Movies! - CLXcool - 04-16-2014 Nobody mocks a drawf!!!! Gimli looks like a fool in the movies (at lest the Two Towers). RE: At the Movies! - GameWizard001 - 04-18-2014 Everytime they show something new with this movie I don't know where I stand. I both dislike this film and yet am intrigued enough to want to see it at the same time. Probably because I'm a guy and it is Angelina Jolie. RE: At the Movies! - CLXcool - 04-18-2014 I remember a few former Disney animators that I spoke to didn't say any kind words about that. Did anyone even ask for a backstory on Maleficent? |
