RE: Video Games That You Would Never Sell - retrolinkx - 03-23-2013 Pretty much all of them. I don't like selling vidya, and I don't really get why some people do, apart from profit. But if I had to choose, probably my DC collection, 3DS, Gamecube, Wii and Xbox. I like having my little collection, it feels more tangible than just saying "I completed this game". This. They are like trophies of your achievements. RE: Video Games That You Would Never Sell - 2D Brain - 03-23-2013 I used to be an extremely dedicated collector from the mid 90's to 2007, and never sold or traded anything good, but an apartment fire destroyed everything. Plus I've moved so many times that I just kind of gave up on the idea of collecting lots of stuff. I'm on my 3rd PS3 after selling the first two. I have 7 disc-based games for it now, but luckily all my digital games are always retrievable. Same is true for my Steam library, but I have more faith that Steam's servers will be up longer than Sony's PS3 archives, though. I have a shelf full of Vita games now, but I don't mind, because the cases are small and the games are the size of a Listerine strip. I can have a lot and still feel minimalist. I don't mind an all-digital future, because of things like that, but I also enjoy the permanency of physical media and a real, tangible collection that publishers can't turn off when they stop making money. RE: Video Games That You Would Never Sell - Chronowarhead - 03-23-2013 My SNES Chrono trigger cartridge. RE: Video Games That You Would Never Sell - GreyFox - 03-23-2013 My MGS Collection Final Fantasy Collection Tekken Collection and generally every game i have i will NEVER sell too much memories and i play them all often :) RE: Video Games That You Would Never Sell - PixelXenoKing - 03-23-2013 (03-23-2013, 07:21 AM)Mass Distraction Wrote: Uhm... All of them? It'd be easier to tell you the games I WOULD sell.what would you sell RE: Video Games That You Would Never Sell - ThisGuyInTheSuit - 03-23-2013 I cant sell any games anymore. Any time I bring a game I'd like to sell to gamestop, or look it up on amazon, its worth like 1$. And even when I do sell a game worth like 30$, I end up buying it back for even more. Only game I can sell is Super Mario Bros + Duck Hunt on the NES. Get that game every year for Christmas... I have a huge library. RE: Video Games That You Would Never Sell - PixelXenoKing - 03-24-2013 (03-23-2013, 10:34 PM)Koopaul Wrote: Most of my games I never sold. I have a huge library. Same here have a pretty big collection myself but if the game is pointless and is just collecting dust, i happen to need money i may sell it. But actually i sold 19 xbox games and i still have 86 games RE: Video Games That You Would Never Sell - BumblebeeCody - 03-24-2013 Anything that's a collectors or worth a lot of money. So anything sealed, rare, limited, collectors etc. But anything else, meh. RE: Video Games That You Would Never Sell - thescottishgamer - 03-24-2013 Any of my Pokemon games. I still have all the ones I bought as a kid with my own saved up money, and even though the Blue versions batter is now dead the memories connected to it will never have a price you could offer. I've made that mistake before. Got Heartgold with money from Diamond and didn't languish in the backwards support. RE: Video Games That You Would Never Sell - Arjahn - 03-25-2013 Super Mario World and Sim City SNES. Stay away from my babies/ Also I'd probably get $3 combined for them, if you're selling your children, at least make a profit. |
