It wasn't just russians sometimes there would be Chinese spammers purverying their knock-off hockey jerseys. :)

Also it was Japanese spammers, Lightmatt, we already discussed this in the other forum. Get your facts straight!

I didn't read the PM everyone got because I already knew about the site and didn't think there would be new info, guess I'll go give it a look over. Edit: And then I read it and see the other forums are closing this saddens me, I hope all of our old content gets kept, but I highly doubt all of it is moving.

Hi there, my names Patanu, or Matt if you so prefer. I'm an art student from Minnesota with a special interest in video games. I have other interests but i won't bore you with those details. I'm a fan of a lot series of games, my overall interest in video games focused on the stories in games. Seeing if there any potential meaning behind the elements in games and ponder over these worlds and characters. But not to say that it excuses things like poor game play or weak design. There games first and stories second. I just happened to like the stories more.
I joined this site because i like video games and I'm an occasional watcher of DYKG. Plus it gives me an excuse to look up some interesting stuff about games i didn't know about. So that's cool.

Anyways I'm 16 from the The great planet of USA (floating directly beneath Canadia if you need a reference). My first love is the N64, we've been together for 6 months now and I still love her just as much as I did when I first met her 8 years ago.
I spend most of my time at N64Forever, a small N64 based community, but I love DYKG and easter eggs/beta material are arguably my favorite things in games so I figured I would enjoy it here.
Can't wait to get to know you guys. =)
