This probably doesn't get a mention in the foreign media, but the condition of aboriginal communities is terrible in Canada. So much so, that after 11 suicide attempts in one day on just one reserve, the House of Commons is holding an emergency debate this evening (usually only held for when there's a debate on whether or not to go to war, or if there is a great threat to Canada).
I've been assigned as part of the interpretation team, working 7pm to midnight. I'll bring coffee, and quite a few tissues I think.

Oh Chatt Town. What happened to you? You seemed to have gone to shit since I left you.
For those not in the know, Chattanooga TN has had a few shootings and it sorta scares me since my friends and family life there. It's thought to be gang vilance, but what ever the reason, I hope it stops soon.

Nothing new, recently. Gang violence is really up.
Recently in Knoxville, Jujuan Latham was shot in the head. The kid is twelve years old. Just a few months ago, his 15 year old cousin, Zaveon Dobson was gunned down while protecting 3 girls. It's all suspected to be gang related.
