I was actually on Tumblr when all of a sudden a post about it came up. I thought it was a hoax as well, but some quick new site searching proved it wasn't.
Being bipolar on top of having Parkinson... Yeah, that would be too much for most people to handle. Just a shame he was in such a bad state of mind at the time he couldn't think about his family and fans.
