It's actually pretty smart and really good for the console and gamer, but holy shit if you don't know why Halo 4 failed and have to do this you're fucking retarded. RE: Gaming news - CLXcool - 08-18-2014 Konami pulls the plug on fan-made remake of Metal Gear. http://kotaku.com/konami-approved-then-canceled-metal-gear-fan-remake-d-1623381482 RE: Gaming news - Zaliphone - 08-18-2014 (08-18-2014, 02:27 PM)CLXcool Wrote: Konami pulls the plug on fan-made remake of Metal Gear Solid. That sucks hardcore. If anything, though, it means that Konami might be making plans to do it themselves. And also I should point out that it's not a Metal Gear Solid remake, but a Metal Gear remake. RE: Gaming news - CLXcool - 08-18-2014 ^I made a correction on that. If thats the case. It could mean that Konami will announce that they will have a remake of their own planned for development. (08-18-2014, 01:09 PM)retrolinkx Wrote: Holy shit, why is DMC3 so good? In all honesty, last year (During the DmC "era") I went through all the DMC games again one by one in the HD Collection. DMC 1: Eh. It has it's charm and as a fan of Resident Evil, it was kinda a strange mix of action and suspense. I liked it. Then I moved onto DMC2 and honestly again, it doesn't bother me. It's where you can see the mechanics starting to pick up and I really didn't care for Dante(even with DMC1 in mind). Then 3 came on on shit that has a great first impression. That opening cutscene man. To me, this is where the DMC series actually started and gained it's own identity. It's hard to say what my favourite is. I love the story of brothers feuding but in a slightly silly and over the top way. Really good story and the gameplay is fun as heck. That being said I still stand by the mechanics of DMC4 being quite possibly the finest any game developer(Neo_G is a genius) ever made. Bayonetta, you come close but I love how much you have to play with in DMC4. To this day, combo videos are still being made showing new combos and potential. Sorry I get carried away when talking about DMC4. DCM4, has a meh story but those that combo system has yet to become exhausted and stale. Also yeah, I've played God Hand but that was a few years ago on the PS2. How comes? :) RE: Gaming news - retrolinkx - 08-19-2014 The hell? Why did you reply in Gaming news, when I posted in the Free gaming thread? Ah, it doesn't matter. I was just wondering, since God Hand seemed like one of those games you would really love. You've also played the Wonderful 101 right? :) Man, we should really play vidya together dude, or at least talk about it more we seem to have somewhat similar tastes. That's what I get for having multiple tabs open and replying to multiple topics/threads and the cut and pasting. DAS Y I AM MOD! :( Also, yeah we should. I just got a new job so week days are busy but definitely get playing something. Ah man that video. I still listen to it after you posted it that time ago(can't remember). Blizzard takes care of their own. I remember when I first started playing WoW. I had a tauren shaman, kind of ashamed of that shaman now but that's a story for another time, and one of my stronger memories was climbing the mountains near the crossroads and finding this. http://www.wowwiki.com/Shrine_of_the_Fallen_Warrior I don't know if there's more but there's also: http://www.wowwiki.com/Decorated_Headstone http://www.wowwiki.com/In_Loving_Memory RE: Gaming news - BumblebeeCody - 08-21-2014 (08-20-2014, 08:49 PM)CLXcool Wrote: I'll be damned. Kotaku and Based Game Journalism. Model is already a part of the WoW games. So this isn't a new model made from recent events. Also shows that regardless of how little knowledge they have, they'll rush an article (as you can tell by how limited the text is) whether they have bothered to look into it further themselves, just so long as they're the first to publish it, thus more hits and mo money. Also: Quote:And it's entirely possible they might tweak this model—or not use it at all.Basically that Patricia has no idea on what she's talking about but will try to justify her article even though it's clearly speculation and ignorance of what Blizzard is actually doing. Sorry but I love bitching about Kotaku. |
