RE: Pokemon Thread! - Psychospacecow - 10-26-2014 So, how 'bout them Mega Evolution legendaries? Pretty crazy primal stuff. Would be really cool if they used Primal Dialga from Mystery Dungeon in there too, even if the original was a palette swap. I always go by VGC rules. I stay away from Smogon to avoid the whole "Oh you're using Ubers" BS that comes up. Still. It means Mega'Khan and Mega'Ger aren't banned then. RE: Pokemon Thread! - Mass Distraction - 10-27-2014 Do primals count as megas, though? I think it's its own thing, like formes. RE: Pokemon Thread! - Psychospacecow - 10-27-2014 I think they do. That's what they've been compared to at least. RE: Pokemon Thread! - Mass Distraction - 10-27-2014 But the Primal evolution doesn't seem to require a Mega Stone, thus it's not a Mega evolution. According to Bulbapedia it's called Primal Reversion. In the Anime we had a Primal Pikachu RE: Pokemon Thread! - Psychospacecow - 10-27-2014 Interesting. It could be like mega evos but with an item afterwards. RE: Pokemon Thread! - Mass Distraction - 10-27-2014 Why does it have to be like a mega evolution? It doesn't even seem to be affected by the stage of evolution, unlike mega evolution in which the pokemon evolving has to be the final natural evolution. RE: Pokemon Thread! - Psychospacecow - 10-27-2014 That's true. I'm just going off of assumptions here. Unless it's like how Kyurem, Giratina, The genies etc work. You don't give them an item to hold, but instead use an item outside of a Pokemon battle change their forms (sometimes written as Formes). I'd suspect the same as Kyogre and Groudon. Yeah I remember that Episode. Go watch it! That episode gave me nightmares... Or maybe "Episodes". http://pokemonepisode.org/episode-373-gaining-groudon/ http://pokemonepisode.org/episode-374-the-scuffle-of-legends/ RE: Pokemon Thread! - BumblebeeCody - 10-28-2014 A06G0KN60CYRV98R A060EU1Q0P650TJ6 For Europeans only. RE: Pokemon Thread! - Mass Distraction - 11-10-2014 Guys. Seriously. http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/647622 RE: Pokemon Thread! - Psychospacecow - 11-10-2014 Isn't that a digimon? I think it was witty to use a digimon posing as a pokemon in the place of Mulan, posing as a man. |
