RE: The Free Thread *Gaming Related* - Arjahn - 06-23-2013 This was actually designed for the Xbox, it just works on PC, which is all I use it for. Then you got the one I want, but like I said $60 here for some reason, or you didn't get it at Wal-Mart, or the price dropped and I didn't notice. RE: The Free Thread *Gaming Related* - Psychospacecow - 06-23-2013 I have no headphones.... RE: The Free Thread *Gaming Related* - Arjahn - 06-23-2013 I picked it up at Best buy Also, 420 thanks, teehee RE: The Free Thread *Gaming Related* - MexicanAnime - 06-23-2013 http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2013/06/hideki_kamiya_still_wants_to_work_on_star_fox I'd love to see this happen. RE: The Free Thread *Gaming Related* - MexicanAnime - 06-23-2013 You know, I never had a big problem with the Gamecube games like so many others had. RE: The Free Thread *Gaming Related* - cingchris - 06-23-2013 (06-23-2013, 10:12 PM)Hexadecimal Wrote:(06-23-2013, 10:10 PM)MexicanAnime Wrote: http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2013/06/hideki_kamiya_still_wants_to_work_on_star_fox I agree with both of these statements, because that series is awesome and that guy's games have all been very good so far, and the on rails 3D bullet hell thing is what I like about Star Fox not the on foot missions, they're sub-par at best. But oh effing damn would I love for Hideki Kamiya to work on ANY Nintendo game. Imagine what Nintendo could do if they gave some of their games to other companies who are a lot more creative or an indie developer. What a Zelda game would be like from an indie developer. When you look at games like Metroid Prime, Other M and the Donkey Kong series from Retro, Team Ninja and Rare they've all been great(Other Ms gameplay was the strength of the game). Hideki working on Star Fox? Oh yes. I agree with CingChris, the on foot missions in Adventures were a chore, but the environments had were incredibly detailed. I'd love to see more put into an exploration side of Star Fox with more to interact with rather than random dino-NPCs. It was a missed opportunity to flesh out more of the Star Fox world. Star Fox Assault on foot missions with fun though. But we can still have a few landmaster/foot levels. They're not too bad in moderation. RE: The Free Thread *Gaming Related* - Hexadecimal - 06-25-2013 (06-25-2013, 02:25 AM)Arjahn Wrote:(06-24-2013, 08:56 PM)Lazlo Falconi Wrote:(06-23-2013, 10:12 PM)Hexadecimal Wrote:(06-23-2013, 10:10 PM)MexicanAnime Wrote: http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2013/06/hideki_kamiya_still_wants_to_work_on_star_fox I would've liked the change up in Star Fox 64 if they'd only made those vehicles control better. The Arwing was absolutely flawless, but especially the darn tank was so clunky it was ridiculous. The big draw to me in Star Fox is interacting with your teammates. I missed that in Dinosaur planet and I think I only got annoyed with the sequel because Crystal became part of the team and they dumped Peppy. It's kind of sad to see story progression when it involves your favorite character looking super old and not really able to do much anymore. I was afraid the next thing that would happen would be him passing away. RE: The Free Thread *Gaming Related* - Ghost Nappa - 06-25-2013 This person must be fun at parties. RE: The Free Thread *Gaming Related* - Arjahn - 06-25-2013 Just out of curiosity, does anyone here buy Nintendo stuff and not use Club Nintendo? Let me know if so, I could use a few more codes :P Oh, and did you guys know that there was a Banjo Kazooie game for the GBA? I just found an ad for in on the back of an old instruction manual (For The Bible Game... don't ask) |
