Private Nakawaga: They're the daughters of Hakan and Melike.
Seven sisters full of vitality.
A large family that goes along pretty well, anyway.
It seems their father buys them whatever they want.
Basic info:
Name: Hakan's daughters
Country of Origin: Turkey
Favorite things: Daddy and Mommy
Dislike: Daddy's songs (LOL? )
Private Nakawaga:
Their special trait is undoubtedly their incredibly unruly hair.
It seems it's a bit of a sore spot for them, too...
Their names are...
The first: Abla¹
128cm / 29kg / July, 7
The second: Susam²
125cm / 25kg / October, 2
The third: Hurması³
124cm / 25kg / October, 2
The fourth: Tereyağı⁴
121cm / 20kg / December, 7 now in her rebellious phase
The fifth: Kanola⁵
122cm / 21kg / December, 7
The sixth: Zeytin⁶
123cm / 22kg / December, 7
The seventh: Ayçiçeği⁷
117cm / 17kg / October, 16
All blood type A.
Their order is visible from the number of blocks (?) in their hair.
They like a type of Hakan dolls
that oozes oil if you squeeze it.
¹ "Elder sister", literally. They don't have actual Turkish names, taking them mainly from oil-related Turkish terms. Meh, at least it's a bit funny. With "Abla" they even played with the Japanese term 油 abura, aka "oil", the Turkish "abla" being written the same in katakana.
² "Sesame"
³ "Persimmon, date", but incorrect as it should be simply hurma. Hurması is the third person possessive form, so it's actually "her persimmon/date". But I imagine they chose it because in Japanese フルマジ furumaji sounds like "old really?", lol The Turkish ı (without the dot) is like the English short e in open.
⁴ "Butter". The Japanese 照れ屋 tereya means "shy", so they played with its meaning by having Tereyağı in her turbulent phase instead. The Turkish ğ doesn't have a real sound, actually lengthening the preceding vowel. So it's like it was written "Tereyah-i". It's the remnant of an old intervocalic g that lost its sound fairly recently, and it's because of this that now we pronounce the "g" in "yogurt" (a word that came from the Turkish yoğurmak, "to knead")... and they don't anymore.
⁵ "Rapeseed"
⁶ "Olive"
⁷ "Sunflower". The Japanese "aichichi" can mean "Love daddy", hahaha. The Turkish ç is the English ch.

Private Nakawaga: ¡Viva Mexico! The God of Lucha Libre, born in Mexico.
El Fuerte's and El Stingray's master.
As his name implies, he has a very cool meteor shining in his mask's forehead.
Basic info:
Name: Meteorito Jr.
Height: 177cm
Weight: 90kg
Blood type: Unknown
Birthday: April, 20
Country of Origin: Mexico
Favorite things: Movies (he acts in them)¹, Baseball
Dislikes: Aeroplanes
Private Nakawaga: He was originally a superb high-flyer,
who used as his special move
a modified Moonsault Press named "Yucatán Tornado"².
When he came in Japan to fight, (he went by ship because he's afraid of planes)
he injured his neck after having been caught in Antler Inoki³'s Abdominal Stretch.
From then on, he started using as a finisher
a Spinebuster named Kukulkán.
He's known as an excellent trainer
and has opened his dōjō in Mexico
where he's raising many promising young wrestlers.⁴
¹ That sounds a lot like El Santo.
² This references Último Dragón's move Cancún Tornado, a Twisting Moonsault (that Último Dragón mainly did springboarding outside the ring). The inventress of the Twisting Moonsault was Chaparrita ASARI, who named it Skytwister Press, and for this reason it's considered mainly a female wrestler move in Japan: think DOA's Tina, or Tekken's Jaycee for instance, both equipped with the move. For years I've dreamt about Mika using it as an Ultra. It would've been so fitting for her having a Twisting Moonsault that leaves a rainbow trail behind it...
³ Antonio Inoki, obviously. With even the same finishing move...
⁴ Exactly as Último Dragón himself has done with his Toryumon.
So SFIV' El Fuerte and Slam Masters' El Stingray share the same master? That explains the similar fighting style. Anyways, El Stingray>>>>>>>>>>>>>>El Fuerte.
Man, how is it possible that we haven't gotten a Slam Masters character in a Street Fighter game or a Capcom crossover? And I mean someone besides Mike Haggar. It's been more than 20 years since the last time those guys showed up anywhere. They didn't show up in Marvel vs. Capcom, SNK vs. Capcom, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, Projext X Zone, etc. They got nothing!
Oh well, at least we have some mentions here and there.

Private Nakawaga: The worthy rival of SASA Nishiki and Meteorito Jr.
He even fought against macho mayor Mike Haggar,
a true wrestling legend!
The image below depicts him when he was still active.¹
Basic info:
Name: Antler Inoki
Height: 191cm²
Weight: 100kg²
Blood type: AB²
Birthday: February, 20²
Country of Origin: Japan²
Favorite things: Sunflower Seeds³
Dislikes: Egg Dishes
Private Nakawaga: With his unique talent for sports,
he was active as a big name killer.⁴
He had friendly relationships with various federations in the whole world,⁵
and several wrestlers came to Japan
to wrestle him in famous matches.
He has a fan club,
who every month receives cool Antler Goods.
¹ Antonio Inoki is currently retired and is a wrestling promoter and politician, well known in Japan for his meetings with Saddam Hussein before the Gulf War and, more recently, with North Korean officers, in an effort to improve the relationship between North Korea and Japan. It was during the trip to Iraq that he converted to Islam.
² All copied straight from Antonio Inoki's real stats. Yup, even his blood type, found in the Japanese wiki.
³ Antonio Inoki actually sells his own brand of sunflower seeds.
⁴ Amongst others, Antonio Inoki beat Andre the Giant and Vader during his career.
⁵ Even with the then WWF, in which he was an unrecognized champ, having beaten Bob Backlund in a controversial match.

Today CFN profile is Demon Machami (based upon real-life westler Devil Masami). The translation was provided by Miðgarðsorm from the SRK forums.

Private Nakawaga: And we keep on introducing the pro-wrestlers.
A skilled worker who uses powerful moves.
She chose a heel way of life for herself
and will continue until she burns out!²
A heel amongst heels, a super heel!³
Basic Info:
Name: Demon Machami
Height: 168cm⁴
Weight: 90kg⁴
Blood type: B⁴
Birthday: January, 7⁴
Country of Origin: Japan⁴
Favorite things: Tsukemono⁵, Musical Activities⁶
Dislikes: Hairy Caterpillar⁷
Private Nakawaga: The boss of her inherited female heel stable "Demon Army".⁸
The match between "Shocking Demon Machami" and Rainbow Mika
saw the then-newcomer Mika stormed by fouls,
run-ins and all sorts of stormy violent actions.
Mika's seconds tried to enter the ring to help,
but Mika stopped them from interfering.
Mika's resolution to a fair and square fight deeply impressed the crowd and Machami herself.
Mika won the match pinning Machami with her Dream Driver.
After the match, Machami build a good friendship with Mika.
She's a very good singer.⁶
¹ Based upon Devil Masami. They even forgot to change the name of the image, where she's named "devilm.jpg", lol.
² See note ⁶.
³ "Super Heel" was the last gimmick of Devil Masami before her retirement.
⁴ All copied from Devil Masami's real stats from the Japanese wikipedia (in her English page her weight is 70kg).
⁵ With her real name Masami Yoshida, Devil Masami is the shop manager in a traditional Japanese tsukemono restaurant in Kokurakita-ku, Kitakyūshū, named 小倉城 糠蔵 Kokura-jō Nukagura ("The rice bran granary of Kokura castle"). Catering industry is a common activity for retired professional wrestlers all over the world.
⁶ Devil Masami was also an enka singer, and released an album ("Rain of tears") and various singles such as Silent Goodbye and 燃えつきるまで Moetsukiru made ("Until I burn out"). The last one is referenced in her description.
⁷ "Hairy caterpillar" in Japanese also stands for "pest, irksome person".
⁸ Devil Masami entered the female heel stable ブラック軍団 Burakku Gundan "Black Army", whose "boss" was Yumi Ikeshita, in 1979. After Ikeshita's retirement in 1981, Masami took over as the boss of the newly renamed デビル軍団 Debiru Gundan, "Devil Army". Hence that "inherited".
RE: Fighting Games - ZpaceJ0ck0 - 07-12-2017
So I recently found out that Eric Jacobus (does he really need any introduction at this point?), in association with Men's Health Malaysia and Bandai Namco, released three Tekken styled workout videos. Normally I would put this on the youtube videos thread or the sports one, but since the general theme of the each video ties to Tekken and this being endorsed by Namco themselves.... yeah, I think this place is fitting.

Well this is interesting. I mean I'm not a fan of three of the four franchises, but since Persona 4 Arena was a Blazblue clone, I don't see why I wouldn't like this.

Oh yeah. That was one the annoucments made at EVO.
Honestly, out of all the franchises featured in the game the only one I have some interest in it (aka never played but I want to get into it) is UNIEL. I never cared about neither Persona and RWBY, and I hate Blazblue.
But hey, if this allows arcsys to erase wallets and give Capcom more competition, then go for it.
Personally, out of all the annoucements made at EVO, this one has to be my favorite:

What is Gougi?
In the past, Garuda (a being made up of the lingering grudges of powerul warriors who fell in battle) was sealed by the Hayate clan.
Although Garuda was resurrected once, thanks to the self-sacrifice of a Hayate descendant, he was sealed once again. However, feeding on the energy released during Kairi and Hokuto’s battles, Garuda was resurrected once more and became a demon that seeks out powerful souls in order to devour them. Gougi is the very embodiment of a fallen warrior’s spirit. It contains Energy, Power, Skill, and Secret Techniques.
Powerful souls can join together with Gougi to draw out new powers, but those with weak souls are unable to resist the Gougi and end up being corrupted.
Who is Shirase?
The true identity of “Hokuto,” once the bloodline seal placed on her was released. The illegitimate child of the Mizugami Family; to hide her real identity she took the name of Hokuto and jointed the main family. She was brainwashed at infancy and given the mission to kill Kairi, but once the spell wore off, “Hokuto” became no more.
With her final will, she sealed her younger sister Nanase’s memory, so that she could live a life as a normal girl.
Characters:
Kairi
Backstory: Having lost his memory, he is now locked in an endless battle with other powerful warriors. Garuda has been following Kairi around the globe, feeding on the powerful spirits Kairi releases in battle. He is Nanase’s brother, and Shirase’s half-brother.
Shirase
Backstory: The true identity of the assassin Hokuto, after being freed from the sealed placed on her. With her final will, she erased Nanases’ memories in order for her to live a normal life. Having lost the ability her feel emotion, her only mission now is to kill Kairi.
Garuda
Backstory: A living corpse acting as the vessel for a countless number of powerful souls; he is made up of lingering grudes and resentment. Originally existing only to fight, in the flames of battle his sense of self became twisted and he turned into a monster that seeks to devour all other powerful souls.
Once, a great warrior sacrificed his life to seal Garuda away, but after resonating with the powerful “dark energy,” he was reborn. A descendant of the Hayate clan once sealed Garuda in his own body, but was eventually taken over and became the new vessel. With the energy released during Kairi and Shirase’s battle, Garuda was able to resurrect himself once more by feeding on the spirits of powerful warriors.
Skullomania
Backstory: After finding reemployment in a very good position, he is living a productive life as a salaryman. However, he is troubled by the fact that he has no recollection over the recent Skullomania appearances. That doubt has given birth to new powers. He has a pet dog named Pochiro.
Darun Mister
Backstory: The undefeated champion of Indora Pro Wrestling. After the God of Indora spoke to him in a dream, Darun resigned from his role as Purun’s bodyguard and made his way to Japan. He was utterly defeated by Garuda and left on the verge of death, but he was protected and saved by Gougi. He is now a man completely determined to face Garuda once again and defeat him. He is incredibly hot-blooded.
ZpaceJocko's notes: I find cool to see the whole continuity between the EX series. With Garuda you see why Hayate doesn't make appearances after SFEX2. With Skulomania not remembering his recent transformations could mean something too (Dissociative identity disorder, perphas?). Darun being tied into the whole wanting to fight Garuda after being beaten by him is also an interesting spin on his story.
Hopefully they are going to add some Fithing Layer characters as well as brand-new ones. Speaking of Fighitng Layer, I think this should be a good opportunity to have a translation of the characters profiles; we (the western players) literally know nothing about that game's story.

Honestly I am really hyped about this one, more than I was for Kingdom Hearts news. I'm a fan of RWBY, I love the Persona series, and I've been getting into Blazblue slowly over the last year. Also, the chance to learn about another potentially interesting franchise I know nothing about interests me.
