RE: The VGFacts Community Youtube Channel - BumblebeeCody - 03-11-2014 It's the new Megaupload. Also, we've just got Twitch streaming on Xbox One. No idea if Skype works because Xbox LIVE on the Xbone is down, so if I can record Skype while streamin, then we can broadcast, plus we can save the video and upload it to YouTube; pretty much getting passed problems of capture cards and stuff. Again, I can't test it right now because (the service I'm paying £40+) a year for is down. RE: The VGFacts Community Youtube Channel - Psychospacecow - 03-11-2014 Be interesting if we could do some kind of cross-platform thing as impossible as it is. RE: The VGFacts Community Youtube Channel - Zaliphone - 03-11-2014 I'd totally be down for doing some of this, but I'm not sure about my availability and I could only do PC for recording. Unless you really need another, non-recording and probably silent, player on a PC, PS3, or PS4 multiplayer game, than I'll have to sit out for now. I think it's a great idea and you guys should totally try to do this. If things change on my end I'll be sure to say. Bloody hell please compress your stuff before sending it off to others. Use MeGUI or even Windows Movie maker to compress your stuff to .mp4. Most of my videos end up being more than 5 gigs. Here read this carefully: http://salp.wikia.com/wiki/Encoding_with_MeGUI I'll post a sample to show the results as soon as I'm done downloading that huge-ass file of yours. RE: The VGFacts Community Youtube Channel - Combat Lobster - 03-11-2014 You know what? Nevermind, whatever you're using to record your footage won't even open in avisynth, MeGUI, and won't even import the audio into Audacity; so I opened it in Sony Vegas and I even resync'd the audio and boosted your audio as best as I could (it's still too quiet even with 12db boost), but it crashed every time I tried rendering it. So, at this point I just can't be bothered. I would recommend you don't record your commentary with the same program you're recording footage with. Use Audacity for that. Also don't record in 1440x900, switch and record the game at 1280x720. You'll save on filesize and is less taxing on your system. RE: The VGFacts Community Youtube Channel - Hexadecimal - 03-11-2014 Umm... I'm late to this, and probably wouldn't be able to do much since I lack any proper software (and would probably be too dumb to use it even if I got any) but if there's a place for me I'd like to help contribute to the channel somehow. Do I change the resolution in-game or is that a setting in the recording software? My screen is actually 1440x900 so I'm just making sure. If you want, you can help run the podcast. Most people have said they would do both games and the podcast and I would like for someone (other than BumblebeeCody and I) to help set up and run the podcast. I also need help figuring out what to do with the channel. Any kind of help would be appreciated if you're willing to help. RE: The VGFacts Community Youtube Channel - Psychospacecow - 03-11-2014 So, Change resolution to 1280x720 find a way to compress the footage download audacity and use that to record audio Find a program to splice the audio and video together. Anything I'm forgetting? RE: The VGFacts Community Youtube Channel - Hexadecimal - 03-11-2014 (03-11-2014, 10:29 PM)gamemaster1991 Wrote:(03-11-2014, 09:55 PM)Hexadecimal Wrote: Umm... OK! I think I could do that! Otherwise, for the youtube videos, would a video game related merchandise show be of any interest? Like alerting people to neat stuff up for pre-order or talking about older stuff that people might not be aware of? I should probably look around on youtube a bit first; I'm sure other people probably already have that covered -_- RE: The VGFacts Community Youtube Channel - Psychospacecow - 03-11-2014 (03-11-2014, 10:36 PM)Hexadecimal Wrote:(03-11-2014, 10:29 PM)gamemaster1991 Wrote:(03-11-2014, 09:55 PM)Hexadecimal Wrote: Umm... Rooster Teeth, Escapist, Screwattack, etc. Doesn't mean we can't do it. Who said that Van Gogh was the only guy who could paint? |
