RE: The Chit Chat Thread: 2 (Electric Boogaloo?) - SamuraiGaiden - 01-10-2016 Augh! You know what annoys me? When I'm trying to add trivia and it's something I know is true. But I can't find an adequate source for it. I just stare at my notes and weep inwardly. o_o* RE: The Chit Chat Thread: 2 (Electric Boogaloo?) - CosmykTheDolfyn - 01-13-2016 Trying to organize an in person speedrunning marathon is more work than I thought. RE: The Chit Chat Thread: 2 (Electric Boogaloo?) - Arjahn - 01-16-2016 Dayyyyyyyyyyyyyum college textbooks are expensive. I always heard the horror stories, but sweet jesus $200 for a short psychology book is nuts. I mean, I'm just going to illegally download them anyways, but still. RE: The Chit Chat Thread: 2 (Electric Boogaloo?) - SERIOUSLY THOUGH - 01-18-2016 I got a couple of pairs of socks for christmas. I wore the first pair yesterday and they have a lovely design They're also so soft and warm on the inside. RE: The Chit Chat Thread: 2 (Electric Boogaloo?) - Arjahn - 01-18-2016 Hey I'm sorta in the market for a laptop that isn't horrible or very expensive, great combo I know. Anyone here have one they'd recommend? Not really thread worthy, doing plenty of research on my own end, just curious if anyone here was ever in a similar situation then got trapped under some rubble and a muscular macbook rescued them while also updating their resume with dynamic language and appropriate font choices. What are you looking for ? - Windows, Mac, or Red Star OS ? - Main use ? Study, video editing, gaming ? - How much storage ? - Screen size ? If it's just for studying, you can get a tidy little laptop than can happily run Office for a cheap price. It's when you're looking to video edit (processor) or game (GPU) that the price starts going up. I may be late to the party here, but I remember getting a grant for $1000 for books when I went to college. Then I had to get a single book for $740. Just looking for a low end one that can run Photoshop, probably a pc since I have a long history of macs disappointing me. RE: The Chit Chat Thread: 2 (Electric Boogaloo?) - Psychospacecow - 01-19-2016 What's your price range? Cheap is different depending who you ask. We're in the top 20 for "Top Manufacturer in the nation" or something similar. 2nd year in a row. I think this visit is because we're actually in the next group of candidates above the top 20. Yep. We made it. 8 companies are recognized as the winners each year. I saw the list, but we weren't the first company on that list, though. It was in alphabetical order. RE: The Chit Chat Thread: 2 (Electric Boogaloo?) - retrolinkx - 01-20-2016 Someone (who is younger than me) was asking me why I seem to be forgetting a lot of random things lately, I jokingly said I'm old even though I'm only 19. I now have back pain for some reason. >_< rip me RE: The Chit Chat Thread: 2 (Electric Boogaloo?) - ClaudX - 01-20-2016 I feel you, man. I have constant back, hip, and knee pain. Maybe it's because I've been working on a farm all of my life? Who knows? Don't worry, I won't forget about those roots. If I don't pluck them out, the weeds will grow back, overthrowing the plants in the garden. |
