Not sure how I feel about the selfys (that's what there called right?), but the rest sounds like a welcome addition. Though if Hero mode is what I think it is (a master Quest like mode), I would like that to be a reward for beating the game once. Kinda like how you got the PJs in the original.

Has anyone else been playing Steamworld Dig? It's a little 3DS eShop game about mining. Unlike other mining games, it DOESN'T make me want to strangle myself. It also leads to some of the most tense gaming moment I've had in a long time, timing your swings so that giant spiked jukebox doesn't crush you into a heap of scraps is either devestating when you die and lose a sh*t ton of money, or you feel like a badass robot Indiana Jones when you barely dodge it.

Also, Nintendo is doing an art contest in which the top five win Wind Waker and I think grand prize is a console and Wind Waker. I can't think of all the details right now, but it should be on their facebook page.
