RE: The Third Degree - SERIOUSLY THOUGH - Mass Distraction - 04-08-2013

Are you always serious or is it just your alter ego by night?

RE: The Third Degree - SERIOUSLY THOUGH - Berry - 04-08-2013

Can you explain why but oh why, oh why, did I decided to watch Here Comes Honey Boo Boo?

RE: The Third Degree - SERIOUSLY THOUGH - Wardenclyffe - 04-08-2013

-What inspires you to write your music/what are your musical influences?
-If you could live in any time period other than current day, what would it be and why?
-A penguin walks through your bedroom door right now wearing a sombrero. What does he say and why is he there?
-If you could pick two celebrities to be your parents, who would you pick?

RE: The Third Degree - SERIOUSLY THOUGH - Psychospacecow - 04-08-2013

In the event of a zombie apocalypse, how will you and the kid from your avatar survive?

Who took the cookie from the cookie jar?

How's that computer repair going?

RE: The Third Degree - SERIOUSLY THOUGH - cingchris - 04-08-2013

Have any shenanigans happened lately?
Do you enjoy coffee, and if so what kind?

RE: The Third Degree - SERIOUSLY THOUGH - Psychospacecow - 04-08-2013

Actually, he was having comp. issues right? He might not be able to do this. If he can't I guess I could go.

Wrong. Next person is chosen at random. So you could possibly go, but only a chance.

And SERIOUSLY THOUGH, who was the greatest villain of the Earthworm Jim games, based on design, boss battles, etc.

RE: The Third Degree - SERIOUSLY THOUGH - Combat Lobster - 04-09-2013

The list is starting to run out, so I suppose I'll jump in to keep the thread alive.

So Seriously Though, on a scale from 1 to 10 how French is French toast?

Up next, SERIOUSLY THOUGH!

Why?

I'll tell you why ! It's all the bloody noobfaggytz on MW3 thinking they can keep up with my level 1 prestige, 2 kill-streak, 140 deaths:4 kills ratio. They just don't KNOW.

(04-08-2013, 03:04 PM)Mass Distraction Wrote: Are you always serious or is it just your alter ego by night?

I'm always serious during the day. At night, I take on my cunningly disguised superhero alter ego's identity - TERIOUSLY SHOUGH. Criminals be quakin' when they see me swoop from up above.

There is absolutely no valid reason for you to watch that smut. What you now have to do is sing the Digimen theme tune with all the bells and whistles.
I just wanted an excuse to sing the Gidimoan theme tune...

(04-08-2013, 04:13 PM)Wardenclyffe Wrote: -What inspires you to write your music/what are your musical influences?

I don't think that there's a single source of inspiration for the music I make. I've always loved music, and love most of the music I hear, which then reflects in how different most of my pieces are from one another. I spent many years in an orchestra (and would still like to be in one but I had to leave my violin in Europe) and studied music theory as part of my instrumental learning, so I often draw on classical music to make some of my more relaxed pieces.

When I started making music, I tried copying existing pieces to see what I was capable of. Then, as my attempts became more and more similar to the original, I used the building blocks to create my own pieces. That was about 8-10 years ago, when I started using a computer for music (before that I composed on scores).
As time went on, I strayed further and further away from the beaten path to make my own things. I'm glad I started by emulating existing pieces because it allowed me to get the feel of the theory behind a good song.

(04-08-2013, 04:13 PM)Wardenclyffe Wrote: -If you could live in any time period other than current day, what would it be and why?

I would like to live in my home area in the Prealps in the 11th century. That's when the first permanent settlers of my valley moved in. It would be cool to be part of that.

(04-08-2013, 04:13 PM)Wardenclyffe Wrote: -A penguin walks through your bedroom door right now wearing a sombrero. What does he say and why is he there?

It wouldn't bloody be able to say anything before explaining how it went through my door ! After that, and letting me know that it had got lost and ended up in Mexico on the way up here, it would explain to me that I have been chosen to teach the penguins how to fly. Then we would soar out of the window for adventures aplenty.

(04-08-2013, 04:13 PM)Wardenclyffe Wrote: -If you could pick two celebrities to be your parents, who would you pick?

Well, in my eyes, my parents are already celebrities. But if I had to chose more conventional celebrities, it would have to be Liam Neesons and Bruce Willy. Imagine the household shenanigans that would ensue :D

Well I, and little Avatar, would be totally fine - we're friends with A Zombie Riot who, as we all know, would control the horde.

You bloody took the cookie from the cookie jar. And now you're trying to say it was me. Traitor.

WELL - I got dem next-day technician comes to my house and fixes my laptop insurance. So he was supposed to be by yesterday. But I got no call, so I'm waiting for a call today otherwise I'll have to send a message to Dell saying "wtf".
Hopefully I'll be back on my laptop - it's only the graphics card that died so everything else is fine.
Until it's repaired, the lab has a few computers so I can browse here.

(04-08-2013, 06:27 PM)cingchris Wrote: Have any shenanigans happened lately?

Well now that you mention it, there's a lot going down in the place in which I live. A roommate apparently hasn't paid a month's rent so the landlord was all like "gibe money plox" and she was all "I've already given it to you. br? br? br?". So he calls her parents, a shouting match ensues culminating in the roommate's father hanging up on the landlord. The landlord then proceeds to make many colourful threats. And I was just sitting in my room, reading my book.

(04-08-2013, 06:27 PM)cingchris Wrote: Do you enjoy coffee, and if so what kind?

I love coffee, but I don't drink it regularly. Quite a few of my friends drink coffee every morning and can't function without it. I don't want to put myself in that situation - what if I were to have no coffee on the morning of a very important day ? I prefer to drink it when I feel like enjoying a cup, so that my body doesn't develop a dependence on caffeine.

I like most coffees, I'm not a coffee snob so I do enjoy just diluting some Nescafé in hot water. Though nothing beats my espresso machine that I had to leave behind in Europe. Damn that was some good coffee.

I've actually never played Earthworm Gymnastics so I'm going to go with either the bird that tries to peck you out of the ground, or the scientist who wants to capture you because a sentient earthworm is something to be studied !

Zvarri! The truth has once again been distractingly revealed to me!

You, sensing that our psychotic space travelling bovine had offered to take your place, stole a computer in the guise of your alter ego, TERIOUSLY SHOUGH, to foil his plans and to emerge as the interrogatee of this thread. Isn't that right, MaskDe... I mean SERIOUSLY THOUGH?

Why does the account/login drop-down menu like to annoy the heck out of me?

Because what's life without little niggles ?
Learn to love the problems (developing Stockholm helps in that case).

HIGH FIVE FOR ORCHESTRA GEEKS! I'mma cello player myself. Well technically I haven't played the cello for a few years and have actually forgotten a lot of the finger positions (AND I HATE MYSELF FOR IT).

Awwwwwww yes, string section represent !
Though you cellists have never had to sit right in bloody front of the woodwind and the piccolo. Never was there such an effective incentive to leave the back row of the 2nd violins

A niggle is just a little thing that annoys you - like the buzzing of a mosquito, or how your roommate always puts the forks in the spoon section.
