I've seen some "evidence" on the internet that retards actually believe, they post pictures and information about how the camps were all safe and the Nazi's actually supplied them with food, water and those necessities and the entire reason the allies found the prisoners in a state of malnourishment is due to the bombing of supply lines and an apparent typhoid outbreak that made them all look like that. Don't worry, I'm not some holocaust denier or anything, but I've seen arguments that people make against it.
Still, most Japanese people out right deny what they did in China and the surrounding areas during the 1930's and WW2 in general, even though there is evidence of them killing and raping people.
tl;dr: people are stupid

I must say this whole story makes me perplexed. If you go into a jurisdiction and commit a crime, why do you then go becrying it when you get caught and sentenced to death ?
Drug smugglers who go to Indonesia know full well that there is no two ways about it over there -- you smuggle drugs; you get executed.
I'm in no way saying that I support their death penalty provisions, but goddamit, don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

Good deterrence but I was never going to do any of that anyway. In the end, we're not scared of the police, government, terrorists. The most dangerous person on earth is always our mother when she finds out what we've been doing.

So a guy who raped and murdered a 13 year old girl, then cut her into tiny pieces, is now getting released from prison after a year or two because "he has suffered enough". This even after every single psychiatrist in the country saying that he is prone to do the same thing again.
