Veterans' Day today - Psychospacecow - 11-11-2013 Don't know what else to say really, but its a reminder to those in the US of what today is. RE: Veterans' Day today - SERIOUSLY THOUGH - 11-11-2013 Today, I have a thought to all those who lost their lives, and those who didn't, during the two great wars. RE: Veterans' Day today - Psychospacecow - 11-11-2013 I never knew him, but one of the men in my family fought in world war 2 as an artilleryman. RE: Veterans' Day today - CosmykTheDolfyn - 11-11-2013 Both of my Grandfathers fought in wars in the Navy. My one grandfather served during WWII, the other in the Korean war. I never actually got to know either of them, but I was reminded of what I do know about them today. RE: Veterans' Day today - Mass Distraction - 11-19-2013 Worth noting is that Mr. Buckles is no longer with us, as of February 27, 2011. So to say, he died at the age of 110. I just quickly googled that since I got curious about what happened to him after 2010. |
