A band named after Resident Evil - Mass Distraction - 11-15-2013
Not sure if this is something that'd fit the site since it isn't exactly about a game but I'll leave it up for discussion anyway.
The band Hold Your Fire! has their name based on Leon's line from Resident Evil 2. Here's the proof: http://www.residentevilforums.net/t2739-punk-rock-fans-check-out-my-band-s-re-song#45130
The band's songs are currently going for the "name your price" method of payment on Bandcamp but back when they started they were all priced, propably for like a dollar a song or something. Anyway, the person in the forums post I linked gave multiple members their song "Raccoon City" for free, which would indicate the person was the real deal. None of their other songs (apart from an instrumental called "Ink Ribbon") have anything to do with the Resident Evil franchise.
